Pleasant to the touch; not scratchy and the length and thickness (warmth quality) suits me (male 6ft 4195lbs) but the color and fashion style are NOT good for someone who even remotely cares how they look when they're around the house leaves. Although a great price, this scarf was disappointing because the color and pattern on the line do NOT match when you see it in person.
