Review on Thomas Traceable Digital Thermometer Display by Amy Thompson

I have used this for random temperature checks in my reef tank. I was very happy with it until the other day, after only 4 months, it just stopped working. He didn't intervene. I replaced the battery with an identical battery that came installed from the factory, but nothing. Of course, I thought, there must be a guarantee. nope Revain refunded me $16 of the $47.93 I paid (before tax). You get what you pay for I guess. Initially, this seemed like a good deal for a NIST thermometer, but with no warranty or support, I'd advise spending the extra money on one that's backed by the manufacturer.
