This inflator checks all the boxes:1. Is threaded2. Has a flow control valve3. Is lightweight at about 26.4 grams for inflator and sleeveFurthermore, the inflator is about as small and compact as possible, and is machined well and feels solid. The downsides: the tire levers are not as good as I require, so I'll be putting these in a drawer and sticking with Park Tools or Pedros tire levers. Same with the patch kit. Also, it all comes in a neat and tidy zippered case which takes up too much room for my saddle bag if I'm also carrying an inner tube. And I have a pretty big saddle bag. I don't like to have bike stuff (that I always carry on every ride) in my jersey, I prefer to have it "with the bike" in a saddle bag. So for all the stuff that comes with this, I'm only ever going to use the inflator and neoprene sleeve. The rest goes into a drawer and will probably never get usedStill, at this price,it's worth it for the inflator alone. I ride 700x28 at about 90 psi, so I think carrying a 16 gram cartridge (or 2 to be safe) is about perfect.
