If I could give this product zero stars, I would. Using the item started well, the product worked and I never used it at 425F but at 325-350 max. It rotated normally and worked to a halt. Once, as I was curling up, the object shorted out and exploded inches from my face. If I was 1 second late I would have burned myself pulling it out of my hair while curling. Luckily the timing was right to save me from a bad burn but what a scare. At this point I have been using this item for about 6 months, maybe once a week. I would never recommend it if you want to be safe and avoid a product that will explode in your face.
