Some of our dishwasher teeth are rusted and some are even completely broken (due to rust degradation). After reading all the reviews I decided to purchase this product knowing what to expect. They are tight so a "soak" with hot water was required to put them on. My husband also had to come up with a "workaround" for badly rusted/partially broken prongs to get the caps to fit. I don't know exactly what he did, but I do know that he used sandpaper to cut off the rust and narrow the tooth. I wish I had known about this when the dishwasher was new - would have bought and installed it straight away. live and learn I am very happy with the purchase and will be buying more.
