Review on 💡 Streamlight 44910 Waypoint 1000-Lumens Spotlight: Powerful Yellow Beam with AC Charger by Loren Jacobson

We bought two of these lights in 2013 and have been very happy with their performance ever since. We originally bought them to walk our dog at night in an area that didn't have streetlights and lots of copperheads. They did what we needed and more, for example they could spot owls in very tall trees. The light is extremely bright and focused, which is what we wanted, rather than illuminating a large area around us like a flashlight, as we're more interested in what's ahead. The ability to toggle the light to the on position so you don't have to constantly pull the trigger is a great feature for long walks. We found the weight and shape of the handle comfortable for prolonged use. We keep the flashlights on a shelf where they can be plugged in to charge when needed. We tend to leave them plugged in when not in use and that's not a problem. After 7 years and far more charges than advertised, we're starting to notice a drop in battery life. We are neither surprised nor disappointed by this as the light has lasted much longer than expected and longer than any other electronic device we have purchased that has also been in daily use during this time. So I buy two more. We now live in a village on a piece of land and at night we have to look after our dogs that run around in our several acres of garden. These lights are just the thing.
