I ordered up a size to make it work appropriate. I have narrow hips & a straight waist. Unfortunately this is one of those dresses where there is a significant amount of extra fabric in the hips, and if you don't fill it out, it just looks weird. Like jodpur pants. Such a shame bc otherwise it's a great dress. I could try going down a size but I'd probably run into the same issue, plus it would be tighter and less work appropriate in other areas. Sadly will be returning this one.
