Good Small Amp That Fits On A Desk
Needed an amp that could drive the Jamo C91 bookshelf speakers (6ohms at 100/150W short-term/long-term). This does a great job of driving them. They produce clean watts up until about the 2 o'clock position before they begin to distort, but this is plenty for my speakers. I actually got sent the SA-160 which has the headphone jack. I tested it, but it has more noise than my computer's on-board audio so I don't even bother with it. Also be aware that this does not support a sub-out if you plan on upgrading to that later on. Also the power brick for this thing is huge so you'll need to make space for it.
