I ordered an aluminum tool which is good enough but they sent me a stainless steel tool. This is a true professional quality tool that is indestructible. It's also a GREAT connection method, the tool is fully self-contained and ultra-compact making it easy to keep on board unlike traditional connection kits. My only concern is that the string plug itself is 1/8" in diameter - too small. for typical car breakdowns. You had to pass 3/16. The problem is they want the corks to be tiny so a chick with three inch nails can use this tool. My last two piercings were done with 1/4" diameter pieces. To perform a reliable repair I would need to use three of these plugs. With regular string plugs and plug tools, one plug was sufficient as these plugs are twice as thick .and fold in half so they match FOUR plugs.
