Good but not quiet perfect

UPDATE:This is my second time trying these as my first experience was not great but not bad enough to turn me off forever. This set of laces were much easier to install since this time the aglets (those hard bits on the end) were intact on all of the laces this time. The laces are easy to install and fairly easy to adjust to your foot. The end pieces where you loop the lace are easy to use, but the "optional" cap pieces can be very difficult to snap.My BIGGEST COMPLAINT is that the end pieces on all of the laces are gray despite ordering WHITE and BLACK laces. On my first order I got gray laces so I didn't notice that THE ENDS DO NOT MATCH THE LACE COLOR. WHY?!? On the black pair it looks okay, however on the white pair they look stupid, as the shoes are a mint green with white and have no dark colors at all! Of course, these cap pieces are considered optional, so I tried just using the wrap piece but then the cut end of the lace sticks out awkwardly and looks worse than the mis-matched cap, so if you are planning to show the end pieces (which I recommend because putting them in your shoes causes uncomfortable rubbing), then the odd color sticks out! Overall I would recommend these over other stretchy laces if you are okay with the end sticking out.however I have yet to find a way to make them look cute AND function comfortably.----ORIGINAL REVIEW----I purchased these about a month ago and wanted to fully test them out before posting a review. I will say that overall the product works as described and once I was able to properly adjust the length of the laces the elastic holds the shoes on my feet. There were two primary issues that I had with these laces.1. You have to leave them tied for a time to make sure the elastic stretches were it needs to but is still tight enough. If you cut the length too long, your feet slide around a bit.and if you cut it too short, the elastic digs in. Once they are cut and set up it is difficult to adjust them (and you can only tighten) which I had to do despite wearing them everyday for a week prior to cutting.2. The biggest problem I have with these is the little plastic pieces end up scraping my feet. The ends are big and bulky and often scrape my feet as a put on/take off the shoes. Perhaps this is my fault for not leaving enough slack here, but still. The smaller pieces that actually hold the laces to the desired length must be placed at the top notch of the shoe, and then there are optional cap pieces that you can add for extra security. I didn't even add the caps but these little pieces keep rubbing my feet.If you go ahead and purchase these, be sure to place all the plastic bits on the OUTSIDE of the shoes. I know this will be a little bulky and show off the ends, but it is far more comfortable this way.Pro's - Easy to figure out, no more tying my shoe lacesCon's - Seems to strech out after a while and difficult to adjust, cannot readjust on the fly, plastic is scrathcy against feet and ankles.
