Review on SATA Arctic Case Fan Hub by Adam Fido ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I was surprised by the quality for this price.

Good hub for 4pin pwm fans, works as intended! It is advisable to connect fans that have the same operating speeds, because if the motherboard outputs a 50% PWM signal at a load, then for a fan with a maximum of 2022 revolutions, then 50% will be acceptable - 1000-1200 revolutions, and for a fan with a maximum of 1200 it will only be 500-600 rpm. You can have very noisy cooling because of this. at the processor, the fan will not work loudly at 600 rpm, and 5 case pieces will turn everything at 1200 rpm. In general, you need to know PWM% to connect this thing, but if you connect at random, then everything will work, but it will not be so easy to achieve a quiet mode if you don’t understand what PWM control is! This adapter is not suitable for 3pin fans, they will run at 100% speed and will not be regulated.

Pros
  • Protected housing contacts are inside, which increases the security inside the PC case - nothing will short out anywhere.
Cons
  • Thin wire and not very long.
