Review on Dinosaur Electronics Micro P-711 Domestic Control πŸ¦– Board: Enhanced Performance and Utility for Your Home Appliances by Cedric Ziebart

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Dinosaur is the way.

Works as advertised. for DC (three-way refrigerator) not required for 2-way, AC/propane. A ground wire must be made for a connection. I used a short 5 inch piece of wire with a ring terminal on one end and a connector on the other end. I'd rather buy from these guys than Dometic. Installation took about 30 minutes, mostly to make sure I connected the cables properly. I use an aftermarket temp sensor in the fridge. There is a temperature controller on this circuit board. I found that I had to set both this and the internal regulator to cold, and that seemed to solve it. I had a problem when the fridge got warm. It was a very windy day. I think the wind blew the propane flame away. my check engine light didn't come on. I'll call them and ask if there's anything they can do to help. After resetting the fridge it worked and after that it stabilized at around 39 degrees Fahrenheit. UPDATE: Photo added. Be careful when connecting the correct cables. I found it a bit confusing at first. The photo should help if the color coding is the same for all these Dometic fridges. I used it in January and retired my fridge for the winter until about a month ago. Since then it's been working great. My freezer freezes food. Eventually I will switch to an all-electric Danfoss type fridge, but so far this is working very well.

Pros
  • The Micro P-711 is equipped with a temperature controller that allows you to finely adjust the temperature of devices equipped with a temperature switch.
Cons
  • Slightly torn
