Our puppies are unhappy when someone leaves the house without opening the dog door. Even if one of us comes down soon after, they think they can't use the toilet outside. It leaves a mess that needs to be cleaned up. I put this sign on the basement door so it's easy to see if someone has already opened the door for the dog. Signs of much better quality than I expected. It's durable and snaps into place. The included adhesive discs worked on the textured door. I am completely satisfied with this shield.
