If you're even reading this, BUY IT!

Washing dishes is something everyone hates, and before that I was one of those people who would leave dishes in the sink until I ran out of pots, until I washed the dishes. After buying this sponge and a pair of IKEA dishwashing mitts, my life changed, and that's no exaggeration. These sponges are unlike any sponge I have ever tried. Of course, I've only ever used cheap sponges with a fibrous scouring pad attached to the sponge, which grips the fibers on every pot lid screw and the rougher spots it's ever touched. It also catches food debris and only becomes uncomfortable after a few uses. NOT THIS! The first thing that struck me about this sponge is how rough and abrasive it is. But still, it's just a plastic pad so non-stick surfaces don't get scratched. It softens a little when you use hot water, and that's the ideal level of abrasiveness. At less than $0.80 per sponge it's hardly an investment and even if I could find them in a 1 pack at a dollar store I'd buy 10 every time so it's an absolute steal. This is supposed to be a fake O'Cedar Scrunge endorsed by America's Test Kitchen and at the time I was skeptical about how good a plain sponge could be so I tried them out for a price of $7 instead of the $17 for spending a pack of 12 9. So if, like me, you're skeptical about how one tiny item can affect your life, skip the trip in a day and do it. You will not regret it.

Pros
  • ๐ŸŒŠ WAVE TECHNOLOGY - Bubbles remain in the wave, this is the effect of cleaning the surface without scratches.
Cons
  • High Price
