I would have written a review when I first received this oh-so-comfortable blanket, but I was happily wrapped up like a burrito for about a month. Finally I decided to share the news about this soft, snuggly, silky, light, warm, thick, fluffy, cute, flat plaid teddy bear. Oh, and it's beautiful too! This blanket is a must. I like it comfortable. Especially when I'm in one place for more than 6 hours. I have an orthopedic mattress that doesn't quite fit. My husband bought me a 2 inch memory foam mattress topper for Christmas and it is changing the world. But with this blanket I could stay in bed all day. No, of course I'm too busy, but I can fantasize about it! I've washed it twice now because we have young children who love to make a mess, but I was also able to use a baby wipe to wipe small items and it immediately disappeared. Oh yes, we live in California and sleep together. the windows are open or the air is on in summer and this blanket keeps us warm. Sometimes it's too warm for my husband, who also says that the memory foam mattress topper sometimes gets too warm. But sleeping on it when it's too warm is PERFECT. I can't wait for winter! I swear there isn't a more comfortable blanket in the world. And also! It is suitable for animals! Hooray! This luxurious blanket could easily be sold for much more. I've only tried it to match my new sheets, and since I've had the same duvet for 15 years, I'm sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooodden to do it!
