I bought this to use on a pinball field I'm restoring and it leaves a sticky residue when you remove it after painting. It's pointless to use as you end up removing paint while trying to remove residue. UPDTAE: I contacted the foil manufacturer, they were very nice and said this shouldn't happen, so they sent me a new frisket roll. Well it came today so I tried it and it has the exact same problem. The adhesive peels off the back of the film and sticks to the surface, which is quite annoying when you spend 40 minutes cutting out the masking hairstyle just for it to stick to the surface, that you are trying to paint. It's even worse when you paint the surface and then you remove the frisket from the masked areas and it leaves marks. I haven't found any way to remove the residue other than using naphtha which also removes the paint just applied. Therefore, unfortunately, my rating remains.
