I bought this in combination with another Revain product - a $25 or $30 soldering kit which contained a lot of the tools needed for very basic soldering at home . I was having issues with my left analog stick on my Xbox One controller drifting up or down erratically on the vertical axis. I've tried several times opening up the controller, cleaning the inside, and even replacing the vertical sensor itself (the small metal spring that's part of the analog stick) with the new one included in this kit. Unfortunately he was still playing. So I just replaced the whole knot. I haven't soldered in many years so it took me about 30 minutes even though it was only about 12 solder joints. However, once I fitted the new joystick it worked great. Considering that used Xbox One controllers were $80 at the time I ordered them and I was having trouble finding new ones in sticks, the $40 total (between those parts and the solder kit) was a great investment. It also means that if I ever have problems with these controllers in the future, I can always use at least 3 more joysticks! Screwdrivers, additional screws, plastic parts for disassembling the controller, etc. are their purpose. They also seem pretty solid considering the price of this order, and not a single detail is missing. Definitely worth it and I recommend this set to anyone having trouble with their analog Xbox One sticks.
