Over the years it seems like every electric blanket I buy only lasts about 1 season and we've had "so-so" heating efficiency when it got cold. That's why I wanted to review this blanket a year ago. I wanted to have as honest a time with this blanket as I have used ALL the others. I don't know and don't understand why, but this duvet offers a level of comfort and warmth that I've never experienced before. Adjustable from 1 to 10, at level 2 I remove the cold edge from my side of the bed and slip into a comfortably warm, but not too warm bed. When it's REALLY cold outside (-10°) I put the duvet on 1 when I sleep and it keeps me warm even if it gets cold in the bedroom. This blanket has never failed! This blanket just won me over. Save money by spending money on a quality electric blanket instead of replacing it year after year. I am very happy with my decision to invest in this blanket.
