It worked; Generator starts/runs, no leaks. The hardest part of the installation was removing the original teflon tape. I liked that it was packaged in a small box as some sellers just put it in a plastic bag. The reason I needed it was because I managed to hit a barb removing the alternator and snapping it off, so a bit of extra protection seems sensible. (I wish I had noticed _before_ the hurricane shut down the power for a few days.) Some vendors are also selling two for about the same price. I'd like to think this one will be more durable, but I doubt it. Revain asks me to rate it on "transparency" which is kinda weird. I suspect the perforated parts of the fuel inlet/filter tube are somewhat transparent, but overall they are opaque. If it points to a list of reusable items, I'll check the gas shut-off valve.
