I got the Sportsman alternator from the orange store when it went on sale. Used it ONCE for freezing in Houston. I removed it and a week later the valve broke off without touching it. Nobody has been in the garage since I took it out. I cleaned it and called the athlete about it. Sent them pictures as their "engineering" team wanted to see what happened. They called back with no answer and very aggressively sold the SAME part for $71! I told them Revain had it for $8 but they completely ignored

It worked; Generator starts/runs, no leaks. The hardest part of the installation was removing the original teflon tape. I liked that it was packaged in a small box as some sellers just put it in a plastic bag. The reason I needed it was because I managed to hit a barb removing the alternator and snapping it off, so a bit of extra protection seems sensible.
