Bought to build a Linux system (Mint 19.2, AMD Ryzen 5 2400G, Asrock B450M Pro4). I wanted to add SATA ports for Esata and DVD (to avoid interception of M/B ports). Plug and play with BIOS 3.50 and run like a champ (even boot from) DVD. Worked with Esata Drive Enclosure to diagnose hard drives. I also bought a similar SHINESTAR product. It turns out that the cards look the same. It wasn't necessary, so I didn't check that. It's good when everything just works. Many thanks to the engineers (especially for the Linux compatibility).
