This small ottoman is the perfect addition to my bedroom. I use it to store small things, but primarily I got it to sit on. I had read many reviews on this item before purchasing it and didn't know what to expect, but now that I have it I think a lot of people misunderstand the structural integrity of the product due to the advertised weight limit. This ottoman can support a ton of weight. I'm a very tall woman and I really abused this thing for a few days to see what it could do. that doesn't mean it's the Iron Throne! I could probably bend the sides of the ottoman in half with my bare hands. The strength lies in the shape and how the lid distributes the weight. To get the most out of it and maintain its lifespan, you don't have to constantly put a lot of force or weight on the center of the lid. Corners and walls are in place, all important load-bearing capacities! Next I will try the 43 inch model. It's just fantastic for the price. Once the lid starts to open the entire ottoman falls apart, still easy to hold and attractive if not looked closely but long term quality is lacking.
