I have five children and recently bought a new mattress. Before anyone could lie on the bed THEY HAD TO BE PROTECTED. This product did everything I expected it to do AND it has a TEST TIME. Important things I wanted to know before buying: 1) It does NOT make any rustling noises when you move - I don't notice it. under my sheet 2) It fits snugly (no wrinkles) on my 12 inch mattress. It also fits well on my old 9 inch mattress 3) An elastic band keeps the protector securely in place 4) It's breathable - it doesn't have a cooling effect, but it doesn't sweat either 5) Waterproof. The bamboo topsheet wicks moisture very well and wraps about 1 inch around the edges of my pillow top mattress. I cannot rate sidewall protection. 6) It can be machine washed and dried. I washed separately before using for the first time before loading the machine with 1 tablespoon of mild detergent and NO FABRIC SOFTENER. I have tumble dried on LOW HEAT with NO DRY SLOTS until completely dry (do not overdry). The reason for the 4 stars is the customer Was it difficult to register the product with the seller?The item came with a card asking me to email the warranty registration within 10 days to get a free to receive a gift.I first contacted the seller through the Revain message center but the seller told me to write directly. I made more than 4 attempts 10 days later, no reply. Contacted again via Revain. The seller said my item was registered but didn't mention a gift. Action guaranteed.
