Spark Plug Gap Check

Supposedly preset gaps. I haven't checked them. All eight installed and received code P0300 for multiple cylinder misfires. Pulled the plug and three were below .020. The correct play is 0.040. Never had a problem like this at a hardware store. Apart from that, ok. Check the clearance before installing them!
