Installation was very easy on my 2002 BMW 325i that was missing the sensor and sensor socket. However, it never showed the correct temperature. It constantly reads about 45 degrees Fahrenheit. This is after several recalibration attempts, a hard reset of the ECU, soldering/re-soldering of the connectors and 3 months of use.
