I had to replace the brushes almost immediately because I was cleaning the stairs with the hose attachment with the vacuum in a vertical position which lifts the brushes off the carpet. But by the time I was almost done with the 18-step ladder, the brushes had melted from their holders and the bristles had come loose and the machine was making a lot of noise. So I ordered this replacement, it's a complete kit with both side guards, all washers, both belts, brush spindles and the entire brush assembly. It was easy to swap out and came with a large instruction manual with pictures. It took me ten minutes. It took a few minutes to get the little straps on the brushes and hold them while I installed them on the spindles. Works perfectly. No motor belt is included. So if you melted it down (I didn't), you'll have to buy it separately. But this is a complete set and you don't have to worry about storing the original parts. Actually a very good offer.
