I bought this adapter set for a number of reasons. These are high quality brass adapters that will fit many different products and sinks. They are guaranteed for life and will not leak or corrode with use. To find out if these adapters will work with your sink, you will need to remove the sink's aerator. Take the pliers and try to unscrew the bottom of the sink faucet. When it unscrews, there is an aerator in the sink. These adapters will not work with sinks without an aerator. The first use of this adapter set was to connect an Avanti top loading portable washing machine to our kitchen sink. The adapter required was the size of a standard garden hose. We had no problems connecting the washing machine. We no longer use the car but have kept the adapter. The main reason I bought these adapters was to replace the plastic adapters that came with the Culligan faucet filter kit. These adapters fit perfectly and allow us to connect the faucet filter to both kitchen sinks and washbasins that have two different faucet sizes. Adapters are used daily in both our bathroom and kitchen sinks. There were no leaks or corrosion. They are very strong and will not break under pressure like plastic adapters.
