Without geofencing: Features

Full disclosure: We never tested it in the door. As soon as we received it and read everything we could read about it, we realized that there is no geofence. This allows the lock to be unlocked when you enter a certain radius around your home. It's one of the top three reasons we needed a smart lock, so we sent the product back. It looked quite nice, although the inside of the door is a bit larger than expected. The product was announced at CES in January 2019 and I could have sworn it had geofencing back then. However this is not currently the case and when we asked kwikset a question about this prior to returning the lock they never bothered to reply. We gave them over a month to respond so I guess they just don't want to tell us about this particular lock bug.
