Easy installation for our 41.25 " wide staircase. Welding on gate is not very good but can be repaired.
Bring a 4" extension on each side of the gate to match our 41.25 inch ladder. I don't think the legs can be extended much further, but I'm glad the gate still feels stable with the legs extended. We have this gate and a 50" wide shelf. Gates. So far we like the operation of these gates more. As per other reviews, the welding of the gate components is not the best and the edge where the latch falls looks like one The metal is slightly serrated and not flush, but we plan on sanding it a bit or putting some tape on it.
