Review on Brother PT 65 P Touch Labeler Screen by Sam Simone

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Still strong

I feel like I've had this thing for ages. To be honest I bought it in 2005 and it probably cost around $30. I still use it to print file labels, dividers, drawers, folders, etc. It looks and works the same today as it did when I bought it almost 9 years ago. return. The price Revain is selling today is crazy - probably because it's so dated - so you can try today's Brother P-touch for less than $50. I'm not an active user. I use it in snapshots. I will print 5-10 labels in a day and then stop using them for several months. The biggest complaint - and you've heard it before - is the cost of the ribbon and how much is wasted in printing. I try to use life size as much as possible, but when I'm marking up binder dividers (my #1 choice for this machine) I have to snip off the ends. Annoying but nonetheless I've been using my Brother P-touch for many years and I'm glad it has lasted this long. It also uses 6 batteries, so be sure to turn it off between prints, even if you're making multiple labels at once. It turns off automatically after a few minutes, but get used to turning it off yourself to save money.
