Very Satisfied - Label Maker

We have been using this model of Label Maker for over 13 years and we have found that it can do more than the newer models and it has survived. The reason for buying another is that we had a newer model and a leaking battery completely ruined the metal connector on the corroded end of the battery. I was so thankful I was still able to get this model - and yes it was a lot more expensive than the newer models as it's no longer in production but as I said it can do more - has more font sizes and…

Good block while it lasts.

Bought two of these devices. One was given to my wife's younger brother who died within a year of taking it from the blister pack. Moisture dependent? The other worked fine for a few years, and then I stopped using it for a few years after the novelty wore off. (In hindsight, I should have let my wife's little brother play with it and waste some tape every now and then.) As soon as it became necessary to use it again, I installed new batteries just to let it power up properly for about 2…

Label manufacturers are still going strong

It seems to me that I have this thing forever. To be honest I bought it in 2005 and it probably cost around $30. I still use it to print folder labels, dividers, drawers, binders, etc. It looks and works the same today as it did almost 9 years ago when I bought it. return. The price Revain is selling today is insane - probably because it's so dated - so you can try today's Brother P-touch for less than $50. I'm not an active user. I use it in snapshots. I will print 5-10 labels in a day and…

Nice typewriter

I really like this label printer. I have another similar model. The only negative I have to say about this is that the tapes are expensive and hard to find. This device also comes with a shorter "starter" cartridge instead of the normal ones. I couldn't find black and white tape on Revain.com (sold by Revain.com), but unless you apply a lot of labels, the tapes will likely last a while. I also like the QWERTY keyboard on this unit. UPDATE 2008-12-30: Batteries: I just bought a PT-80. PT-65 uses

PT-65 P-Touch Home and Hobby Label Maker

This is a wonderful little machine that I have for sale. It's easy to use and the more I use it, the more indispensable I find it. Where I used to be able to scribble a title on a file folder, I now make a nice, neat, easy-to-read label that I can use to quickly identify my files. This is a great alternative to the Sharpie pen for marking family items. Little kids love having their names printed and placed on their jackets (or arms). PT-65 works on six! AA batteries but they last for years and…
