Fel Pro HS-9790-PT-15 Cylinder Head Gasket Kit is the best kit available for Ford 2V 4.6 or 5.4L engines. It incorporates Fel Pro's Permatorque MLS cylinder head gaskets (new design in laminated steel). This is a head gasket design that works best with mixed metal engines such as Ford 4.6/5.4 engines with aluminum heads and cast iron blocks. If your Triton engine has clocked up 100,000 miles, you can always replace the head gaskets. Do you smell exhaust fumes in the coolant reservoir? Do you see the black carbon deposits? It starts off small, like a vacuum builds up in the coolant tank and you smell exhaust fumes in the tank, and maybe some coolant is thrown overboard or inexplicably lost. This steel gasket will last you for a while, but the permanent solution is to replace your old factory head gaskets with these new MLS designed gaskets and you'll never have a problem with them again.
