I bought these filters to use in my Chemex Pour Over. The filter isn't quite the right shape, so it's difficult for air to flow around the filter, because if coffee spills, it drips into the lower chamber and the coffee splatters. The filter is not supported on the underside during pouring, so the filter sometimes breaks during brewing, releasing coffee grounds into the coffee below. I started layering two filters on top of each other, which solves the structural issue but doesn't help the fit. In general, the filter will fit a standard filter coffee maker that supports the full filter, but I highly recommend not using these filters for pouring over.
