It's very durable! Hasn't broken yet, and my 1 1/2 year old son is very rough on it. Has a few scratches, but if you don't expect something you've given to a child to get scratched, you must not have children. Most of the time my son uses it to experiment with centrifugal force. Sometimes with little cars inside the bilibo, sometimes by swinging it around wildly and then letting go. Sometimes it just sits on top of the toybox looking forlorn over its disuse. This is probably a great toy if you are ok with spending money on something your child will ignore for long stretches of time, or if you are some sort of Ikea mom who refuses to let their child have more than five toys at a time because minimalism. But it is also great for trying to foster creativity in the imagination of a daredevil child, occasionally. Since he is under the suggested age range for this product, I am hoping he will use this toy more as he gets older.
