Damn. I feel it my duty to give a warning rating and downplay the high ratings it receives. I had very high expectations - baking soda and Oxi-Clean - what a winning combination, right? Not correct. Or who knows? I can't tell you if this product worked because the smell of the perfume is absolutely overwhelming. I applied it very sparingly, waited 15 minutes as instructed, and vacuumed. Then I sucked again. And again. I have the air purifier on high. Because the smell overwhelmed me. I even opened the windows in 40 degree weather to get rid of the smell. It didn't help. Unfortunately the first room I tried this in was my bedroom as my dog sleeps on a rug at the foot of my bed. So I had to sleep with that smell. Well I haven't slept. It was so strong it kept me up all night. My dog was even poking around at his bedroom door at 2am like he had his own business to mind, but I'm pretty sure he just wanted to avoid the smell of perfume (I think another reviewer called it perfume der old lady what is so Very accurate). It's been 36 hours since use and it still stinks. I wonder if I'll sleep tonight. Or maybe I'll go to the couch. To be honest, something advertised as a baking soda and Oxi-Clean combo is said to be amazing and either smell almost odorless or with a slight hint of "fresh breeze" or something. A great cleansing combo that you have completely deodorized. Maybe they changed the original formula and the great reviews are from an earlier version? Really, stay away from it. This causes headaches. Let me know if you reword this to remove the Arm & Hammer perfume and I'll be happy to try again. In the meantime, everything else goes in the trash.
