This orthosis provides excellent support for my aching ankle. My ankle was bad for about three or four years after the injury. I couldn't even land a light punch without pain. I use this to do low impact exercises and not feel any pain during or after a workout. I haven't tried the high effect yet because I'm scared. If you wear them, make sure they are tightly laced from the foot to the top. If you leave it too loose in the foot, it will cause arch pain. All parts of the brace appear to be of high quality, unlike another brace I've bought for around the same price. The size is very accurate. I wear women's size 7 and bought according to the size chart.
