I can honestly say that I rely on these reviews when shopping and this is my first purchase so I figured I would "prepay". Bought this version of the ignition coils (3 valve) and installed them on my 2004 F150 XLT 5.4 Triton Supercrew 4 door and it works like new. I also had some wobble or hesitation at idle and at various speeds. This symptom was very irregular and sometimes disappeared within a few days. I decided to buy it after reading the reviews and can only recommend it. This is definitely a DIY job and it only took me an hour to swap out all 8 coil packs and I'm no mechanic. I just felt safe when about 6 months ago I blew almost all of my spark plugs while replacing them and had to use a special tool to remove the blown spark plugs. It took 5 minutes to install each coil pack except for the rear coil pack path closest to the passenger seat. Ford didn't leave room to swap out this particular coil pack so it took 20-25 minutes but be patient. All you need is a 7mm jack plug and a jack extension. Disconnect the wire adapter connected to each spool, remove the 7mm screw, pull the spool guard straight up and then install the new one. really that easy!
