I am a certified master beekeeper and teach beekeeping. I love giving things as hands for people to look at. I use charts, plastic models etc. I thought this product would be a great addition as it allows students to see the bees up close. The product I received did not contain honey bees (Apis melifera). Instead, the insects looked more like wasps. Wings were not attached like a bee, there was no hair on the insects, there was no pollen sac on the worker bee. The drones didn't have the big eyes that make them unique. The "Queen" was larger than the working one, but that's all. Bees are known to have stripes, but none of them had them (yes, I know some bees are dark). Other things, like wax cells, were fake. What they called wax cells are just part of the wax base commonly used in a new frame. The cells were not removed. Very disappointed with what I received. Anyway, I'm going to use this product to show students how wrong some people are when it comes to bees.
