Review on AAG21230 Fluorescent Deluxe Hood for 30-Inch All Glass Aquarium by Kim Rogers

Second hooded lantern to be released this year. This is the second tank we have purchased for our 29 gallon tank. The first lasted six months, when it went out, every lightbulb we put in there would flicker randomly until it stopped working. We bought the second lens hood on June 13th this year and on October 13th this lens hood started doing the same thing with the flickering lightbulb, even when we put in the lightbulb we just bought the lens hood kept doing the same until it stopped working completely. We tried three new bulbs in this one and none of them worked. Almost $50 for a lantern with a dome that only lasts 4 months is ridiculous and we won't be buying another one. The warranty is one year but you are responsible for the cost of shipping it back to the company and shipping back if they fix it and tell you what they fixed is not covered under warranty.
