I've recently become the standard of wearing Keen sandals as the only shoes I wear here in Southern California. This is my fourth pair and all four have been excellent in quality and comfort. If I have that many I can leave a pair at each door as I don't wear shoes inside. I wear a size 11.5 in running shoes to avoid the black socks for marathons. For dress shoes I would wear 9D if I wanted to wear dress shoes at all. These size 10 sandals fit me perfectly, with or without a pair of socks. The instep is perfect for my slightly overpronated feet and offers me a comfortable fit even on the longest walks. The fact that they are waterproof is a definite plus as I swim a couple of times a week. The only pair of Keen sandals I was able to wear broke because of the heel strap. But that was after a few years of use as a cycling sandal. I've since become a little more careful about holding this strap while wearing sandals and haven't had any further problems. This particular pair is the chicest and most beautiful of them all, with a warm brown leather upper. Another feature. What I particularly like about these Keen sandals is the toe protection. The rubber outsole reaches to the toes while the leather protects them. It's not exactly the same as a steel toe cap for protection, but a better edge than most other sandals I've had before. In general, I highly recommend it!
