OMG - This is amazing!
Okay, let me make a few caveats first. I am currently studying mixed media. And when I talk about learning, I mean that sometimes I drink water to rinse my brushes. My mother (a longtime professional artist) recommended this paper. I firmly believe that even beginners will fail with bad accessories. This paper is much more than just "paperโ. It's more like a watercolor canvas. It also works well with acrylic paints. I made stencils, painted and even applied hot glue. The paper holds up better than some of the canvases I've used - just a very slight hint of flat surface distortion. Unfortunately it's expensive but I think you get what you pay for in this case.
