This jacket is worth every penny! We live in Washington, where it rains a lot, and I didn't want him to get stuck in a sweater and a thin raincoat. This jacket is warm and soft on the inside. The outer layer is FULLY waterproof and not "tough" like other coatings. I also really like that the jacket is a bit longer at the back. If he sits down or falls, it protects the back of his pants a bit. My boy wears a size 4t about 34lbs and I ordered the small and it really fits the large but perfect for next year. Not baggy at all. I liked this jacket so much that I ordered two colors.
