I buy one of these lamps for my iguana every 6 months. They work amazing. With the help of this light, dietary changes and physical therapy, we were able to reverse his MBD and halt its progression. I will never buy any other brand of UV lamp. When I bought the last one it started shorting out within a week. Thank goodness the replacement came within two days. The flickering scared my poor iguana and I can't be without it for long. However, the Mega Ray box was very damaged when I received it. It looked like it had been smashed and glued back together but the bulb was in perfect condition!
