Great result Great job removing stains from years ago. My rugs are 5 years old, they are tangled beyond recognition and now feel soft and fluffy. Not brand new but darn close to worn carpets. I have used this product to clean my rugs along with prochem all Fiver Rinse and then used the Grandi Groom rug rake to fluff the rugs. I used 1/4 teaspoon on my Bissell machine and had a minimal amount of foam, but I don't think the foam came from this product, it came from Bissell, panache and determination. I've tried all of these and nothing has worked as well as this one. Rinsing is mandatory! Too bad I didn't know that from the start. The product removed most stains including red stains which were the hardest to remove with the exception of neon food coloring my kids spilled years ago. However, he has brightened up these passages. I'll try a stronger microphone solution in the future and see if I can remove the food coloring. The product removed the stale smell of the carpet, the smell of urine that I couldn't even smell with my knee was there. It wasn't until I emptied the reservoir that I smelled urine.
