This is definitely compact for an ATX power supply. I bought the expensive SFX as an alternative. It comes with a 3 year warranty which tells me EVGA knows it is of a higher quality than their cheapest devices which only have a 1 year warranty. This short 460W basssterd stayed as cool as a cucumber. I got mine on sale for $29.99 so I'm really impressed.
