    Perfect fit for PC

In fact it fits better than the standard PSU, has enough power and an accessible connector to power my new graphics card.

Good replacement for the stock Dell 460W PSU

. The 460W EVGA is actually smaller than the standard. It had a lot of connections and is quieter than the standard. I spent a bit more on the Bronze tier, so hopefully I won't have to replace the consumable on this desktop again.

Poor cable design, suitable for internal components

Generally works as expected, except for issues with terminating the cables inside the case (since they are not modular). Any slight pressure on the cables back against the case will cause the cables to contact the internal fan causing noise/problems. I've found that the only way to prevent this is to make sure the fan in the case is facing up (which conflicts with how my airflow is set, I have the exhaust at the bottom of the case). Also, I need to secure the cables to the case so they don't…

EVGA is my GO TO PSU brand. Period

When it comes to value for money, I buy at least bronze EVGA power supplies. This one doesn't disappoint for the average demands of today's desktop builds. For higher requirements I use stronger EVGA Gold power supplies. The build quality of this set is top notch. I've lost count of the dozens of bronze rated evga accessories I've bought over the last 10 years and I can say I've had no problems with that of the others I've bought. That tells me that they have been reliable for many years. I…

    The unbeatable price of

We had a power outage a few months ago. One of my computers would not start when turned on. I suspected a problem with the power supply (it was a Corsair CX430). I removed the power supply and jumpered pins 4 and 5 of the 20 pin connector and the fan came on. This led me to suspect that the problem wasn't with the PSU, but most likely a burned motherboard. Just to be safe, I ordered this EVGA 460 BP at an amazing Memorial Day deal for $29.99. Simply installed and lo and behold, my computer…

A jumper is needed if you only use it for a 6-pin power supply

Received this power supply quickly and in perfect condition. The device is also unusually quiet after switching on. I bought a 460 BP to power two graphics cards mounted on PCIe riser cards with 6-pin power connectors. However, this PSU would not turn on when connected to the main PSU and PCIe cards. Apparently the PS needs to be plugged into the motherboard for it to turn on. Therefore, in order to turn on the power supply and power the 6-pin power connectors, a jumper from pin 16 (PS-ON) to…

Really impressed with the little 460 BP!

This is definitely compact for an ATX power supply. I bought the expensive SFX as an alternative. It comes with a 3 year warranty which tells me EVGA knows it is of a higher quality than their cheapest devices which only have a 1 year warranty. No, he doesn't have Japanese baseball caps, but the baseball caps he uses aren't at the bottom of the rankings either. Seems to be a good cheap one. I am using i7 9700 on b365m asrock phantom games 4, 32G DDR4 @ 3000MHz, 1 each: NVMe, 2.5" SSD and 2.5"…

Perfect for upgrading an old computer

I bought this because I was tired of using the stock PSU (which is 216W) to power my Inspiron 660 with a GTX 1060 upgrade from which I came a friend. This PSU is smaller than stock, affordable, has more than enough power for at least my needs (the card draws an absolute maximum <150 plus 216 is about 400 and I bought a 460w unit which was the smallest of those available) and it is very quiet even when playing. As an added bonus, the power supply not only fits in my computer, but is actually…
