I bought this because I was tired of using the stock PSU (which is 216W) to power my Inspiron 660 with a GTX 1060 upgrade from which I came a friend. This PSU is smaller than stock, affordable, has more than enough power for at least my needs (the card draws an absolute maximum <150 plus 216 is about 400 and I bought a 460w unit which was the smallest of those available) and it is very quiet even when playing. As an added bonus, the power supply not only fits in my computer, but is actually *smaller* than a standard power supply. Should fit most things, but if you're not sure about the measurements you should measure them (unlike me, but it worked in the end). Overall a great device, I would buy from EVGA again. While this unit is a bit overkill for those who need a 200-400W PSU, I would be skeptical of buying under it as PSU manufacturers (particularly unnamed ones) sometimes post higher ratings than the PSU can actually run continuously. .
