I thought it was a bit useless and maybe not good but I bought it anyway. I am pleasantly surprised by this product. Chenille mittens are very soft and good quality. I washed them after every use and they held up great. They are soft and hold a lot of foam and water and work very well. The stick looks well made and is easy to adjust during use. I use a pole to wash the roof of my car and also the hood as I have a Suburban and am not very good at it otherwise. I prefer a glove to wash the rest of the car, but often I just remove the rack and just use the head, usually without the plastic part, but it works fine with that too. I've also used it to clean the lid of our hot tub, which used to be a very chore as I couldn't reach the center. That makes it easy.
