Review on 💦 DIVERSITECH CP-22 Condensate Removal Pump - Efficient 120V Solution, 12x6x6-3/4 by Michael Herrera

Bought as an exact replacement for the same pump that was installed by our HVAC installer 18 months ago. This replacement device failed within 6 months. When the condensate from the heat pump could not be pumped out, this condensate ended up on the floor of the finished basement. Two failures in less than 24 months. Always willing to learn the hard way, I now understand the importance of a reliable condensate pump. I just replaced this second failed unit with a Hartell KT-3X-1ULT today based on feedback on this product. While I hope it will prove significantly more reliable, time will tell. However, I can say that Hartell was an easy replacement for the failed Diversitech. The existing plastic drain pipe, PVC condensate drain pipe and electrical wiring fit into the Hartell with no modifications. I won't even fix Diversitech to keep as a backup due to its unreliability.
