This version of Altra claims to have the widest/original toe box width in the shoe style. That's why I bought it. But when compared physically to my older Altras (men's Torin 5, size 9, Torin 6, women's size 10.5, and a plain pair of men's Altras Vihos, size 9), the widest part of the sole was a full 1/2 inch wide. 3/4 inch less. These shoes just couldn't fit me! But still, I loved the support this lonely picnic provides and the amount of pillows that are just right. previous sizing, these would be the perfect all-weather work boots for me. This version doesn't work for me but might be perfect for someone with a narrower stand 👣
